Battery to Bridges Coalition is a community-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on waterfront stewardship, public access, and climate resilience along Lower Manhattan’s East River waterfront. We are working for a public, resilient, active, and welcoming East River waterfront from The Battery to the two bridges, with parks, recreation, water access, and public benefits that make the waterfront a vital community asset for Lower Manhattan and the city.

Our vision is to have a waterfront that serves residents while supporting local economic vitality. It should remain public, accessible, and useful to the community, with the economic activity needed to sustain it along with free and low-cost opportunities for recreation, education, culture, and community.
