Tanya Castro-Negron

Tanya Castro-Negrón is a wife, mother of six, lifelong Two Bridges resident since 1979, and dedicated community leader with more than 25 years of public service. Throughout her career, she has worked to unite residents, community organizations, businesses, and neighborhood stakeholders around a shared vision of stronger, healthier, and more equitable communities. As Founder and Board Director of the Two Bridges & Neighbors Alliance, Advisory Board Director of the Lands End 2 Resident Association Inc., and President of DYCD Neighborhood Advisory Board 3, she is committed to building bridges across neighborhoods, preserving residents' rights, strengthening families and local businesses, and ensuring every community has a voice in the decisions that shape its future. Tanya is honored to serve on the Battery to Bridges Coalition Board of Directors and looks forward to advancing collaboration, solidarity, and collective action for the benefit of all Lower Manhattan communities.
